FAQ

Frequently asked question

Discover essential luggage regulations for travel.

What luggage services are available at KKIA?

The airport offers comprehensive luggage services including wrapping services in all terminals, baggage trolley services, and porter assistance. Porter service costs 35 SAR for a small trolley (45 minutes) and 50 SAR for a big trolley (50 minutes), with free service for people with disabilities. All terminals are equipped with luggage handling facilities to ensure smooth travel experience.

Can I store my luggage at the airport?

Yes, KKIA provides secure luggage storage services in all terminals for up to 15 days under security supervision. Small to medium luggage storage costs 40.25 SR per day, while big luggage storage is 69 SR per day (including TAX). This service is available at luggage storage offices throughout the terminals.

What should I do with valuable items?

Valuables and cash above certain allowances must be declared to your carrier. If your baggage contains valuable or precious items, you must disclose them to the air carrier before boarding and complete the required forms. This helps ensure proper handling and may increase compensation coverage if needed.

When should I arrive with excess luggage?

Passengers with excess luggage should arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure time. Luggage is only accepted at check-in counters on the day of travel with a valid ticket, and all luggage must pass through X-Ray safety scanners. Early arrival ensures sufficient time for check-in and security procedures.
