King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) has received the “Voice of Customer" certificate awarded by the Airports Council International (ACI) World, making it the first airport in Saudi Arabia to do so, one of only three airports in the region and 140 airports around the world.

The certificate is awarded to airports that demonstrate a commitment to communicating and listening to travelers' feedback related to the quality of services provided across various areas, in addition to the airports' adherence to the health and safety protocols followed during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

Commenting on this latest achievement in a long series made by KKIA, Eng. Mohammed Al Maghlouth, CEO of Riyadh Airports Company said, “We are proud to receive this global certificate from such a prestigious entity. This accomplishment reflects our commitment to offering the highest standards of services to travelers and our unending efforts made to implement all health precautions and measures to limit the spread of Covid-19, and provide a safe travel experience for passengers from all around the world. On this occasion, I extend my sincere gratitude to all airport departments and our partners for their tremendous work serving and satisfying travelers in line with our strategic goals to become one of the best airports in the world."

Riyadh Airports has strictly followed all precautionary measures in accordance with the directives of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Health. In particular, the designs of the airport facilities have been changed to match the new procedures, and new methods introduced that use artificial intelligence to monitor the application of social distancing and other precautionary measures. In October 2020, after evaluating the new health measures and procedures that were applied during the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure the health and safety of workers and travelers through the airport, King Khalid International Airport also received a health accreditation certificate from the same authority.
