“Riyadh Airports” and General Electric Company (GE) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to transform King Khalid International Airport into a world-class digital facility and focus on enriching the passenger’s experience by adopting the highest standards of efficiency and productivity.

In an initiative that is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, GE has implemented a range of advanced digital solutions that will enhance the passenger’s experience to be easier and more efficient, as well as covering all stages of traffic at the airport, from portability to baggage handling, to improve efficiency in the airport operations by improving flight management systems and adopting new security systems.

Since the beginning of the second quarter of this year, “Riyadh Airports” has launched a package of quality and new services that will enhance the location of King Khalid International Airport among its regional peers and achieve strategic objectives of allocating this vital sector in the Kingdom.
