Musad Aldaood, Riyadh Airports’ CEO Voted onto Board of ACI – Asia-Pacific & the Middle East

In a move that reflects the Kingdom's status globally, Musad Abdulaziz Aldaood, the CEO of Riyadh Airports Company (RAC) has been voted onto the board of the Airports Council International (ACI) – Asia-Pacific among the leaders of airports of the Pacific Region and Middle East.

ACI is an organization of airport authorities& the Middle East from aimed at improving airports and their operating systems, unifying industry practices for airport standards, and representing the collective interests of airports' interests with governments and international organizations such as ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and IATA (International Air Transport Association). The Asia-Pacific region of ACI is based in Hong Kong and encompasses mainland Asia, Australasia, Indonesia and the island nations in the Pacific Ocean, as well as Vancouver (Canada), San Francisco (USA) and Hawaii (USA). In 2022, Saudi Arabia has won the hosting of the Airports Council International (ACI) – Asia-Pacific Region's new office in Riyadh which works in coordination with the regional office.

The announcement of Aldaood's election was made at the 18th meeting of the ACI Asia-Pacific Assembly which was held in Kobe, Japan in May 2023.

Commenting on his appointment, Musad Aldaood said he was greatly looking forward to working harmoniously with other board members, the World Executive Committee, and Regional Advisors as well as the management team to continuously make Airports a great and safe place for travelers and airport partners.

“We will devote our expertise and efforts to improve the aviation sector, raise the aspirations and expectations, and work with relevant sectors in a joint and integrated manner with the aim of developing our work through the ACI World Governing Board, Asia-Pacific & the Middle East", he concluded.

Aldaood is the CEO of Riyadh Airports Company (RAC) which manages and operates King Khalid International Airport, with more than 21 years of experience. He is concurrently Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Altanfeethi Company that manages and operates all executive terminals and offices in all Saudi Arabia's airports.
